Probably as good as its gonna get for right now... But still fun to play.

The first thing you need to understand about about this game, is IT IS ONLY FOR THE PSP! Meaning that the game play and graphics are only as good as the PSP can offer. It's game play isn't as good as Assassin's Creed 1, and sure as hell not as good as the 2nd one. But in my opinion, its not trying to be. In fact, a part of me thinks they only made this game to get us PSP owners to shut up about not Assassin's Creed 1 originally on the PlayStation Portable.
(but that's just me)

The Story goes, that Altair, has killed most of the Templars and has gone to Cyprus to kill off the rest of them and find out what they are planning next...

The controls are not that much different from the 1st Assassin's Creed. You still use the puppet mechanic to select weapons and perform kills. the free-running and climbing is still pretty good. Although, the shanking mechanic is a little jumpy and isn't very fluent. When you do decide to use your Hidden Blade on someone, no matter what angle your at, the camera will immediately swing for a rear look.
The combat is something to behold. Although it does seem a little repetitive. The best way to fight is to just do counter attacks. They were cool around the beginning of the game, but around the middle, all I did was "punch them twice, knock them to the ground, and stab them in the chest".

The terrain and graphics are pretty good (well, for the PSP).
Texture is what you would find in any other game. The best way to describe it is what you'd find in a Prince of Persia game plus a little bit better.
Altair himself, LOOKS AMAZING. His robes and weapons are very well detailed.
One thing that got me is that they actually gave him fingers....
Most other characters just have the thumb, fore finger, and the others fused together, Altair was given 10 (OK, 9) fingers.
One thing that you'll probably notice right away, is that there is an extreme absence of towns people. Although I was upset at first, I was more relieved when I wasn't crashing into people when trying to escape.

The audio is also pretty good. They threw out the old voice of Altair, and gave him a new voice with an accent. The rest of the sound is well done and sharp.

The story line, is honestly a little short be itself. If it wasn't for me trying to do all the side missions, I could get it done in about 3-4 hours. Although the story itself, is actually not that bad.
Altair has dropped his angry assassin act and has turn into an intelligent, honorable person. which makes up for completely dropping Desmond Miles from the game completely.

All-in-all, it's a decent game. Its probably not worth the $40, but its definitely something to look out for. This game has a lot of potential and may become a better game in the years to come. I mean, look how bad the 1st Assassin's Creed was compared to the 2nd one. So I wouldn't be surprised to see a Bloodlines 2 in the future
