Asphalt Urban GT is a game like Gran Turismo that can now be found at bargain prices and is definetely worth picking up.

User Rating: 8.6 | Asphalt: Urban GT DS
Gameplay:
The Gameplay in Asphalt Urban GT is excellent and very similar to the early Gran Turismo games for the Playstation. You can tune up your cars almost identically to the way you tune them in Gran Turismo, this is not a bad thing as it really makes you feel like you are playing Gran Turismo. The only true problems in the gameplay itself is that it can often suffer from minor bugs and glitches for example driving through solid objects like trees and cars and thats generally a good thing but not all of the time, if you do happen to drive through a car you may get stuck halfway and not be able to move. However all these glitches can be overlooked because the majority of the time your just going to have fun.

Graphics:
The Graphics are excellent especially for the Nintendo DS in my opinion and the frame rate runs smoothly and it rarely, if never seems to slow down whatsoever. The draw distance is terrific too you can see out very far in high detail. Graphical glitches may occur in the most bizarre of moments but don't alter the actual gameplay which is good.

Sound:
The sound is mediocre at best and if you are someone who picks up games for the soundtrack then this is definitely not for you. All the songs are MIDI style songs that no one anywhere would have ever heard of. Although the game does have good sound effects, a voice that yells out 3...2...1...GO, car horns and all of the cars in the game have a nice engine sound. Basically the soundtrack is very similar to Burnout, MIDI style, Unknown, not good. As a conclusion the sound in Asphalt Urban GT leaves a lot to be desired.

Value:
Asphalt Urban GT is definitely worth the value as now-days it can be found at bargain prices everywhere and overlooking the small graphical glitches and poor soundtrack it is a ride everyone will enjoy.
