Few things sell as well in popular media as sex and violence. D3Publisher is hoping that the intersection of the two will prove especially potent, given that the company announced today that it will be importing the Japanese Xbox 360 game Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad.

Set for release early next year, the game will arrive in the US at the same time as D3's previously announced Wii installment in the series, Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers. Despite having been revealed first, Bikini Zombie Slayers is being billed as the sequel to Samurai Squad.

Both games were developed by Tamsoft, and they follow the samurai sister act of Aya and Saki as they hack their way through a zombie outbreak. Neither game has a rating yet, but the Onechanbara series' history of blood-soaked, scantily clad protagonists (see picture) suggests that an M for Mature is waiting in the wings.
