TOKYO--Nintendo's Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures may have been a hit to those who played it, but it required up to four Game Boy Advance portables to be connected to a GameCube for multiplayer play. Because of said requirement, not too many people actually got a chance to enjoy the game to its fullest.
For gamers who have wanted to try out the game, there's good news. According to retail sources, Nintendo has announced the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures on the DS in Japan, though no release date or details have yet surfaced. However, with the DS's wireless capabilities, the new portable probably won't be confined to the same restrictions as the GBA.
More information on the game is expected soon, and GameSpot will bring additional news when it becomes available. In the meantime, check out the full review of the GameCube version.
