After a tease last year, it has now been confirmed that the Zelda-like RPG Oceanhorn is headed to Nintendo Switch. In its announcement about the game crossing 1 million sales last year, publisher FDG Entertainment said Oceanhorn was coming to a "Nintendo console," which we now know is Switch.

The confirmation came today on Twitter (via DualShockers), with FDG saying the game will run "beautifully on the powerful Switch." A release date wasn't announced beyond sometime in 2017; the Switch comes out on March 3, with Nintendo's own Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as a launch title.

Oceanhorn is already available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4; a Vita version is on the way. GameSpot's review scored the game a 5/10.

Developer Cornfox & Bros announced a sequel back in August 2016. Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm utilizes a third-person camera, as opposed to the top-down perspective of the first game.

Despite this change, Cornfox said it would be "built upon the same elements that were the heart and soul of the first Oceanhorn game: exploring a colorful world, a deep backstory with secrets and twists, amazing music, and most importantly, classic action-RPG gameplay with items, puzzles, battles, and badass bosses."
