Zelda: Breath of the Wild Halloween Artwork Is Very Cool
Link mounts a pumpkin.
Nintendo is getting into the Halloween spirit with a cool bit of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild artwork. Posted on the company's Japanese Twitter page, the image shows Link, wearing his spiffy blue tunic, scaling a pumpkin shaped mountain.
From the looks of it the mountain is pretty big and he's been climbing it up it for quite some time, as he's surrounded by clouds. Hopefully he doesn't have trouble breathing up there. Check out the image below.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch. As of yet, a release date for the game has not been announced, but a report has suggested it would debut within six months of the Nintendo Switch's release. Since Switch is scheduled for March 2017, that would be anytime up until August 2017.
The Switch a console/mobile hybrid system that features detachable controllers. For lots more on the system, check out GameSpot's roundup of everything you need to know.
As for Breath of the Wild, it is the first new core entry in the Legend of Zelda series for consoles since 2011's Skyward Sword. You can watch a 30-minute gameplay video of it here.
