Zack Snyder Teases New Justice League Trailer On Valentine's Day

The Justice League director tweeted out on Super Bowl Sunday when fans can catch an upcoming and, possibly, the final trailer for the Snyder Cut.

The Snyder Cut is upon us. For fans who have been clamoring for years and director Zack Snyder's vision of the Justice League, the movie is finally headed to HBO in a few weeks. Before the Super Bowl, Snyder tweeted out that next week, we'll get another trailer and teased a bit of it on his account.

The quick clip shows a pre-Cyborg Victor Stone scoring a touchdown in Snyder's trademark super slow-mo with thrilling music playing in the background. In the original cut of the film, Vic's football career was only briefly mentioned, but nothing really highlighted.

Ray Fisher, the actor behind Vic, has expressed in the past that Cyborg had a bigger role in Snyder's intended cut, and Snyder himself even said Cyborg was the heart of the movie. However, director Joss Whedon cut out a lot of his footage in post. Fischer has also gone on the record about how Whedon was an abusive figure on set.

To say Fisher's relationship with Warner Bros is complicated is an understatement, as he was called uncooperative in WB's investigation into Whedon's abuse, and they both have different accounts of what happened. Fisher even accused WB execs of having racist conversations.

Yet, Cyborg fans who wanted to see their favorite hero achieve and be so much more than what they got originally don't have to wait much longer--even if it is Fisher's last time portraying the character.

Justice League: The Snyder Cut premieres on HBO Max on March 18. Check out our Snyder cut vs. theatrical cut gallery comparing all the major differences.
