Today, Konami Digital Entertainment announced Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament 2004 has shipped to stores. The Game Boy Advance title is the sequel to last year's popular Worldwide Edition Tournament, and the official game for the 2004 Yu-Gi-Oh! videogame tournament. It is rated "E" for everyone and retails for $34.99.

Like its predecessor Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament 2004 is a card-trading game based on the popular anime series and manga comic book. The game features over 1000 cards bearing the likenesses of 25 characters, which gamers must play in a strategic manner. Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament 2004 is also bundled with three collectible three limited edition collectible cards: Fairy King Truesdale, Kinetic Soldier, and Slate Warrior.

The U.S. finals of the official Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament 2004 will commence in late summer, with the winners moving on to battle European and Japanese champions. Konami will be releasing more details on the tournament as its start date nears.
