Ys: The Ark of Napishtim E3 2005 Preshow Report
Konami releases new information on its upcoming fantasy role-playing game for the PSP.
Released for the PS2 earlier this year, and currently scheduled for release on the PSP this fall, Ys: The Ark of Napishtim is an action role-playing game in which you'll assume the role of a redheaded hero named Adol Christin. Armed with three magical swords, Adol must explore hidden islands in the great vortex of Canaan as he attempts to uncover the secrets of the area's mysterious whirlpools.
Ys: The Ark of Napishtim combines real-time, fast-paced action with strategic boss battles. The PSP version of the game will also boast a number of minigames not found in the PS2 original. Other features on the PSP will include a jukebox mode that lets you listen to the game's entire soundtrack, as well as unlockable character profiles.
We'll bring you more information on the PSP version of Ys: The Ark of Napishtim as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, you might like to check out our full review of the PS2 game.
