Gears of War developer The Coalition has announced a new community feedback program to help make all of the company's games better, including Gears of War 4 and whatever else is developed in the future.

It's called the "Gears Feedback Program." As explained on the Gears of War website, this is an opt-in program where users can provide feedback directly to The Coalition for consideration.

"The goal of the program is to get better insights from our players, and factor the feedback we receive into the development of our games," the studio said.

People who sign up and are accepted into the program will "occasionally" receive emails from The Coalition asking them about their gaming habits and their "unique perspective on Gears of War." For the most part, this will be done through simple, short surveys. However, users may also be asked to participate in Skype video chats or even playtests.

"Every request you receive is optional," the developer explained. "If you don't want to answer a particular survey or feedback request, that's totally fine!"

The Coalition also stressed that the Gears Feedback Program is just another way that the studio will listen to fan feedback. Suggestions and comments posted in the game's forums will continue to be looked at and considered.

You need to be 18 years old to be accepted into the Gears Feedback Program. You can learn more about it and sign up here at the website.

Gears of War 4 launches on Xbox One in October, but the multiplayer beta begins next week. Check out this post for more details on how to get in.
