Yakuza: Of The End pushed to June
Portion of sales for postapocalyptic action game set aside for Japan relief funds.
The next installment of the Yakuza series--Yakuza: Of The End--was originally scheduled for release in Japan on March 17, but it was delayed due to the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. According to a recent update on the game's official site, the action title will now go on sale in Japan on June 9.
Publisher eSega also mentioned that a portion of the title's sales will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society to aid in relief efforts. The game will retail at 7,980 yen.
Yakuza: Of The End will feature franchise mainstay Kiryu Kazuma fighting zombies in a postapocalyptic Kamurocho using firearms. An English version of the game has yet to be announced. For more information about the game, head here.
