Access to a demo for the much-anticipated Yakuza 6 will be included with the upcoming Yakuza remake for PS3 and PS4, although the demo will only be playable on the latter console.

Yakuza: Kiwami, as it's known in Japan, is the name of the previously announced Yakuza 1 remake for PS3 and PS4. Those who purchase the game at retail will receive a code that can be used to access the demo of Yakuza 6 on PS4, according to DualShockers. Digital copies will automatically grant access to the demo on the PSN account it's purchased from.

Kiwami launches on January 21 in Japan, with the Yakuza 6 demo coming a week later, on January 28.

Yakuza 6 is the first original game in the series to be developed for PS4. As such, it features some much-improved graphics, as can be seen in the video above released last month. It's due out later this year in Japan.
