First details on Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose have been released in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine.

The storyline of Xenosaga Episode II has not been revealed, but it is known that Shion's brother, Jin Uzuki, will play a major role in the game's story. The main characters are still intact--Shion Uzuki, Kos-Mos, Chaos, Jr., Albedo, and Margulis have been confirmed for the sequel--and some of them have been given a more-mature look for the new game. For example, Shion no longer wears glasses, and Kos-Mos has a new costume and no longer has headgear. Margulis does not have a scar running across one side of his head anymore, which may have some connection to the game's storyline, as he is said to have some sort of past relationship with Jin Uzuki.

Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose--which is in development at Monolith Soft--is currently 35-percent complete and scheduled for release by Namco for the PlayStation 2.
