Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Announced for Nintendo Switch
Nintendo's Switch reveal event included a trailer for Xenoblade 2.
A direct sequel to Monolith Soft's action role-playing game Xenoblade Chronicles, Xenoblade 2, was announced during the Nintendo Switch reveal event.
No release date was hinted during the trailer or stage show. However, Soraya Saga, scriptwriter and designer at Monolith has indicated the game will launch in 2017.

Xenoblade Chronicles was released for the Wii in Japan in 2010 and North America in 2012, and a 3DS version was released in 2015. Xenoblade Chronicles X was a spiritual successor that came out for Wii U in 2015.
