XCOM: Enemy Unknown Complete Edition coming to PC [UPDATE]

So since they are releasing a complete edition with all the DLC, that means there will be no more DLC? I was hopin for more stuff. There is the long war mod but it causes all kinds of issues, like no MP and can make your game and system crash. I wont touch it since its not supported by the developer yet. Im surprised this game only received the limited DLC it did? Most games usually get two big DLC additions, this has had several but only Enemy Within would be consider true DLC.

This would be great if XCOM: EW wasn't a buggy pile of unplayable shit. XCOM: EU was fine, but they released XCOM: EW in an unbelievably bad state.

Even if it was patched Firaxis has lost quite a bit of my trust. Somehow I doubt it's patched given the way they were dragging their feet.

Perfect way to make the jump into the game if you have not yet. You won't regret it.

Next expansion: Your soldier can be like a Transformer!, only for $29, and as a bonus it has a roundhouse kick.

Also included: The Patriot Mode, a version of the game that changes Xcom into a all USA operation only(all they had to do is hang some flags)

Missions: The evil Russians, Germans and Chinese are after Liberty and Justice, and only Emerica can stop them.

The content will be 1/20th of the game, but cost 1/2 the price. You WILL buy it, because your a tool.

Oh right, it's how the game should've been when it was released.

Honestly, even after playing through the complete game (ie; with EW), I still hail the original XCOM (UFO Defense) as a better game.. which I ended up playing AFTER the new XCOM.

I really wish someone else was allowed this IP. To me, Firaxis does not understand what an XCOM game is, especially evident by treating it as a Civilization game with a damn content expansion pack.

Oh well, suppose Xenonauts is something to look forward to as an XCOM replacement.

So... it's just the Commander Edition from the 360/PS3, renamed for PC? Ooooooookay.....

I don't advise buying it... it just feels like one more expansion is on the way that is going to flesh out the 'meh' end game of the Xcom campaign

Enemy Within added some nice mechanics to the early-mid game play to keep it from stagnating and improving the tension of missions instead of simply moving a hunk of over watched members about taking as many turns as it took to safely clear the mission. Now you only had so many turns to get to the canister of magic goo, but it still has the problem of ending up very blegh by the end where your simply running missions and testing your squad members to find the physic ones, build the artifact room, then assault on the Mothership and bam game over with very little changing throughout that time...

Iunno feels like theres more they could flesh it out with like how the inclusion of the human enemies and finding their base by sending opertaives on missions spiced up the start to mid campaign. + I liked the new enemies (specally the choke your lone agents to death invisosquids)

By complete they mean without main game features ripped out to sell as DLC.

There's a Sid Meier humble bundle going on right now, that I would recommend being a part of if you want the Civ 5 stuff.

Sounds good, I've not bought either of these games yet... though I enjoy CivIV a lot, and I like the concept for XCOM so I'd probably like the game as well. Depending on how they price these I may be one of the buyers this time... IMO *all* games that recieve DLC's and xpacs should (at the end of their shelf life) be released as some sort of a "complete" edition.

They should just focus on a sequel, I want a sequel damn it, not a package deal!

Well should the complete Edition come to ps4,xbox1 as well and plus good to see game come to pc first anyways I try game didn't like it but its good gone back to its roots.

I want more XCOM so bad. Hope they make more expansions.

This has been on TPB for quite a long time...

I would rather have them fix the progress breaking bug everyone is experiencing on the consoles. I haven't played enemy within for weeks because I'm still waiting on a patch.

PS3 has valkyria chronicle, no need for this garbage.
