Xbox Series X Signed By Phil Spencer Is Up For Auction, Bidding Already Surpasses $2,500

An Xbox Series X signed by Phil Spencer is up for auction, and all proceeds are going to a good cause. Spencer worked with the New York Game Awards to sign the console, which is now being auctioned off with proceeds supporting the New York Video Game Critics Circle non-profit.

This charity helps support underserved students in the Bronx and Lower East Side of New York City. The box was only opened so Spencer could sign it; other than that, it's brand-new.

For all we know, this is a truly a one-of-a-kind system. As such, there has been a high level of interest in the eBay auction so far, with more than 50 bids driving the price up to beyond $2,600 USD at press time.

The page description states that the signed Xbox Series X will be "carefully packaged" and insured before heading off to the winning bidder. The auction is only available in the US. Bidding closes on February 2, and it'll be interested to see how high the price goes.

Spencer donated this console as part of the 10th annual New York Game Awards, which took place on the evening of January 26. Supergiants' Hades took home the overall Game of the Year.
