The EA Access free game lineup on Xbox One continues to grow. Electronic Arts has made the surprise announcement that the first Plants vs. Zombies game has joined "The Vault."

Plants vs. Zombies becomes the sixteenth game in the EA Access vault, joining the likes of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Battlefield Hardline, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and Madden NFL 16, among others.

Its release is notable in that it is an Xbox 360 title that is playable on Xbox One through backwards compatibility. Last summer, EA said it was considering adding Xbox 360 titles to the lineup, and Plants vs. Zombie is the first one.

Plants vs. Zombies is one of EA's Xbox 360 games playable through in the Xbox One backwards compatibility lineup. It's possible others, such as Mass Effect, could also be transitioned into the EA Access program, though this has not been confirmed.

EA Access is available for $5 per month or $30 per year. A similar subscription service called Origin Access is available on PC. It also currently has sixteen free games available to members, though the offerings are different than what's available on EA Access.

@Dcyple3000: Apples and oranges. I won't bother explaining the difference, as A. You already know and are just trolling, or B. It's been explained so many times, and in such simple terms, that you're just never going to understand (or, to be more charitable, choose to understand. )

I've been hoping they'd start including 360 games since BC was first announced.
