This week's Xbox One news roundup is a lengthy one, with loads of new updates and plenty of industry highlights. The majority of updates are just patches, and this week also offered some insight into how lucrative microtransactions have been for Activision Blizzard.

2018 might just be the year of anime as 12 new anime-centric titles are launching, and we’ve got a roundup of some of the most noteworthy. Kingdom Hearts III got another trailer, giving us a sneak peek at a new world.This week's massive list of updates includes the Xbox One system, Monster Hunter: World, Fortnite, Overwatch, and Rainbow Six: Siege. There are several deals worth looking at this week, from the PUBG Xbox One S bundle, to the 2TB Sea of Thieves game drive. One more title was added to Xbox's backwards compatibility catalog, and February's Games with Gold titles will be rotating soon.
