Xbox One, PC Exclusive Recore Gets Confirmed Release Date
Here's when you'll be able to play one of Microsoft's biggest exclusives.
Recore, the Xbox One and PC exclusive from Mega Man and Dead Rising creator Keiji Inafune, will launch on September 13.
The game was shown during Microsoft's E3 2016 press conference. Where a new trailer introduced the game's cast of characters, all of which the player brings to life by putting an AI core into the shell of robots.
Recore was first announced during Microsoft's E3 2015 briefing in June, but the game has stayed largely under wraps since then. Inafune is partnering with Armature Studio, which was founded by former Metroid Prime developers.
Recore stars a character named Joule and a robot-dog companion called Mack. Armature Studio co-founder Mark Pacini has said Metroid and The Legend of Zelda are inspirations for the game.
Joseph Staten, the co-creator of the Halo and Destiny universes, who left Bungie to work at Microsoft as a senior creative director, is working as lead writer on Recore.
