Now Playing: GameSpot's Best Of The Year 2017 - #7: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

It's a new week, and that means Microsoft has rolled out a fresh set of deals on Xbox Live. The lineup of deals this week is not all that extensive, though there are some solid offers to be had across Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Starting with Xbox One, some of the better, more notable deals include Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare ($30), Call of Duty: Ghosts ($20), and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare ($20), as well as Goat Simulator $3.30 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus ($30). Goat Simulator expansions GoatZ ($2.50), Payday ($2.50), and Waste of Space ($2.50) are also on sale.

Moving to Xbox 360, some of the deals include Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare ($20) and Call of Duty: Ghosts ($16), as well as Farming Simulator 15 ($15). A bunch of Farming Simulator 15 DLC is also on sale this week on Xbox Live.

Go to Major Nelson's blog to see a full rundown of this week's Xbox One and Xbox 360 deals, some of which require an Xbox Live Gold membership. The offers expire on March 19.

In other news, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can now pick up the next back of March's free Games With Gold.

I have been waiting FOREVER for Microsoft to put the Hitman GotY Edition on sale for $20 (the episodic game). It's always on sale, and is right now, on the PS4, but never on the Xbox. Also, the PS4 sale gives an extra discount to Plus members.

Me and a friend share our digital games with each other on Xbox, so that's the console I need it for. Any games he buys, I get access to, and vice versa. And he's bought the last few games and Hitman is a game we both like. Or else I would've already got it for the PS4.

Wolfenstein, folks.

@Pyrosa: The only Wolfenstein that was truly great was Return to Castle.

Want to play a game with a horrible ending? Try COD Ghosts. Frankly, many of CODs games have cheesy conclusions that feel like they are written my a 5th grader.

@findmynucleus: not gonna lie, even though ghost had its problems ( and deserved its criticisms) I thought the story/campaign was actually good. The multiplayer was without a doubt the worst in cod history. So if they made a sequel i would get it only for the campaign honestly unless they made the multiplayer much better.

@findmynucleus: Ghosts was obviously written to have a sequel. It has a much better ending than BO3. The COD games at least the ones I've played are equal to your standard action movie in terms of story(think Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis). Just straight forward, predictable, with a lot of action. You should never expect anything more than that for COD games. If you are expecting more, then you are looking in the wrong place.

@spartanx169x: written to have a sequel? yea but yall aint gettin that this year instead its BLOPS 4

@shadowwarrior4: Well I think its well known now that Ghosts was not well received, but I think that was more due to the PvP, but regardless, the BO games are money in the bank so far. So that is why at least from my perspective they are making BO4. I'm not a COD fan per say, but I don't hate the series as some do, I just see it for what it is.

@spartanx169x: I understand what COD is supposed to be in terms of action, but it just seems like too many game developers are trying to push a "shock" ending that isn't shocking and is more annoying than anything else. When you go for that kind of finish, you risk irritating the people that bought the game. I'm not saying that COD is a game you go to for a story, but people play the single player and are interacting with the story the designers created. I just see more of it over time and I hate it. I know I'm not the only one either. Look at reviews for the game and you'll see that people were very dissatisfied with it.

I'm all for action heavy games with predictable endings. The issue is when the writing team thinks they're clever and tries to make it more than it should be...especially when it happens time and again.

@findmynucleus: All very good points. To your point, I think that is exactly what they were trying to do with BO3 a "shock" ending. Also to your point, Its reaching the point that once you have seen/played one you have played them all much like the action movies of the late 80s into the 90s.

@nibbin1191: Wish they would stop making COD all together. The series has been crappy for too many years, and it ain't getting no better.
