Xbox Music app hits iOS, Android

I am definitely getting this because music is impossible to listen to or download for free now a days.

I got the Xbox music trial and I'm blown away. I downloaded 58 complete albums in 20 mins yesterday. I love it. I can stream it on my Xbox or listen on the iPhone app. Awesome

Is the Xbox music app as good as Spotify, MOG or Grooveshark?

i had google music for $8 a month but the UI got worse and worse.

Going to try this out, as I think MS eco system will grow more and more over the next year. One reason why XB1 is on my maybe list.

Really think the idea of naming MS's music service "Xbox Music" is unprofessional though. What if i dont game or dont care for Xbox.

Not sure why free pandora or lastfm are being compared to this. Not like i can choose any song i want, listen, download off line use, and play the songs i want to play using pandora and lastfm

why bother with this when the far superior pandora is available

@Riddick123 @Darknight765 It is new, I would personally wait about a year for them to get their library up. It does let you try it for 6 months free I will give it a shot.

@Darknight765 @Riddick123 It probably includes all music. I just already own the stuff I like. I have very limited tastes. I have yet to see Rammstein on Xbox either.

@Darknight765 @Riddick123 You assume I listen to 30 million songs. I really don't care for the current music that is out today. All of the songs and bands I care for I own. No reason to add Lady Gag (yes Gag) or No Direction. Thanks. Hopefully you don't care for that shit either.

Music apps are fine, but I'm not paying $10 a month for any of them. I'm already paying for the ripoff XM/Siruis radio. I'm about to cancel that.

Cool. Been getting some use out of the service since I got my Surface RT... had been hoping they would make a web app for it. Voila!

Hopefully they work on playlist/file management. That's always a bitch.

Oh right, because Pandora last.FM and several others already do this.

Unless Microsoft buys one of them out (like they did with Skype), I have no reason to jump ship and start paying for something I already stream for free.
