To be completely honest. These sales are pretty meh. That's not to say there aren't any good sales there are like Evolve,Ark,Shadow or Mordor,Rare replay,Borderlands, and all the 360 games but the rest you could find these prices in stores. Last years sales where waaay better. The only games I bought was Catherine, Killer is dead, and COD World at war since I already own almost all the other ones that where priced well. Here I was saving a bunch of money for the "sales" and now I guess it's a good thing I am going to have a lot left over. I wouldn't mind a 1 day sale everyday if it was done right, a huge selection of games not this 4 things a day when most of the time 3 out of the 4 are loot crates for specific games.

@xspartanx3x: Digital version is superior to store discs which have to be manually swapped EVERY TIME even though the game is FULLY installed.

@simplytheebest: Oh God because it's SO physically taxing to get up and change the disc. **** me, we've become so lazy. I've been gaming longer than most have been alive and I survived with changing games and wired controllers. * And the stuff before Atari 2600.

@e3man01: Morons said the exact same thing when the remote control came out for Television. Your belief in a god doesn't get you any extra credits. I survived an era where the only single player action was Pong. No wires, just dials attached to the console itself, so what?

@simplytheebest: First off, I get no credit believing in something fictionalized or man made. Secondly, comparing a remote control to entertainment media is apples to oranges. You prefer your library digital, good for you. I happen to prefer to own what I buy and not lease it thru services that can terminate it anytime they see fit.

@e3man01: You bible thumpers are too much, it's a perfectly acceptable comparison. Why would I want to have to climb out of my cockpit just to switch from Forza Motorsport 6 to Forza Horizon 3 or iRacing? Manually swapping discs is for filthy third world peasants.

I do own the titles I buy and once your discs are stolen, lost or damaged you won't own jack. You should look up the meaning of lease because you're using it improperly. Go to dictionary.com

Show me where it says they can terminate my ownership anytime?????????????? Link to even one person this has happened to??????????????????

@simplytheebest: Reading comprehension, it's not your strength, that much Is crystal clear. I'm going to have to spell it out to you, since you failed to discern my first part. Religion, ALL of it is BS. Man made to control the masses and fleece those of money. Bible Thump, lol. Heard of identity theft? Whatever policies in place today can and will change tomorrow. Hey, BTW, what do you actually own when it's all digital? Jack squat, that's what. Ever think what happens when the service goes offline? That digital collection, so accessible! Not even sure why I'm in a conversation with you when you fail to read and understand what I type. You're just some troll I've chosen to feed. NomNom.

@e3man01: My reading comprehension is so much better than yours, you're the one who mentioned god, go back and re-read your own post!

NOBODY PLAYS A COMPUTER GAME IN ANY FORM OTHER THAN DIGITAL. What are you an autistic kid who sits on the kitchen floor and spins the discs and then makes a high pitched, joyful squeal?

I can play ALL my games when the service is offline. Anyone smart enough to read the fine print on Live or Steam can also see the clause where if the service discontinues you get to play your games offline. Ever learned to read?

You started the conversation to embarrass yourself, obviously.

@simplytheebest: I did fail to indicate offline meant discontinued service. When MS kills X1 online, good luck playing any of that content, maybe you care, maybe you don't but that was my point, service terminates, so does said content. And, BTW when in the blue **** did I EVER mention PC? I know Steam is an always online service but good luck thinking any of that content is accessible if Steam dies. Just because it says good to go today doesn't mean amendments can't be added to negate the present or future, but clearly you have have a crystal ball to know the future. Why haven't you played the lottery to become rich then? You still never answered what you actually own with digital. Since you're so smart, it eclipses my intelligence, so I have to dumb it down for you: you own N O T H I N G. You have a right to access content as long as it exists, until a corporation decides it no longer wants you to have access. This is not a Sony, MS, PC, Nintendo, movie or music thing, it's a way to strip you of ownership without you ever knowing you've been duped. But you go ahead thinking your convenience is worth giving up ownership. Because I don't think you have a signed contact from any online service guaranteeing your content into perpetuity.

@e3man01: I already answered this. Learn English and go read the agreement. If the service goes away you still keep ALL your titles. IS English that hard for you to read?

Research BEFORE posting, save the embarrassment.

I OWN everything I bought and NOTHING you say changes what's already in my purchase agreement.

@simplytheebest: That's so funny you say, "in my purchase agreement". According to Microsoft, "All music, movies, TV shows, games, and associated content (“Digital Goods”) provided in the Windows Store and the Xbox Store are licensed and not sold." Is that good enough English for you? That is a direct copy from MS, even they expressly say you are sold nothing. You have a license. You OWN a license to play those games and licenses get changed over time. So, how am i wrong again?

Even games on disc have a license agreement, do you never read that print before clicking install?

@simplytheebest: So I'll answer this with a question. How do you expect to access said content when the servers are turned off? Why don't you ask if someone can access their content from the OG Xbox? Sony and MS aren't keeping the servers for PS3 and 360 on forever. Better hope some of that content is backwards compatible. Yes, that license agreement that's been there for a very long time. I'll just install the single player games and play on. And there is no box checking before installing, where are you pulling that out from?

@e3man01: The content is on my HDD, duh! If the servers go offline it's still on my HDD, duh!

I've lost count of how many boxes I've had to check to confirm I agree to the license before an item installs. Maybe you're just a little newbie to it all?

Nothing you post will change the fact that whether it's disc or digital there is still the license agreement for both. Try reading the fine print from one of your disc based games.

@xspartanx3x: Nope, 100% correct. Manually swapping discs is primitive what kind of retard wants to physically insert a disc that isn't needed because the disc is already 100% installed. Damaged or stolen disc = gone forever. Installing isn't exclusive to any generation it's been around since HDD's have been around.

@simplytheebest: I hope you know this but the reason a disc is still needed is piracy. If we weren't so greedy and cheap, same with the corporations, we'd get the option to install and ditch the disc. But we can't and so they don't.

@simplytheebest: Wrong again, we didnt need to install physical games in order to play them with the 360 and ps3 games,Or how about Xbox and ps2 pretty sure hds have been around the SNES era and we didn't need to install things then, Oops! Also having a physical copy means I can share it, sell it,whenever and wherever I feel like it and enjoy whatever my copy brought such as posters, maps, art books ect... But hey if you presonally prefer digital good for you. I am not the type of person that gets sand in their vagina over someone elses personal preference.

@xspartanx3x: I'm living in 2017 and ALL titles on current gen consoles and PC require full installation.

You can lend digital version games. I wouldn't lend a disc, that's no deal. Pay for it and not be able to use it because someone else is. If they don't return it or damage it, it's gone forever.

Why sell it? To support gamestop who will give you $1.50 and sell it for $29.99 + tax?

Those maps and posters never really ever came out of the box, games are played on the screen, if you need a separate map then you must be playing a very old game.

@simplytheebest: You finally listened to me. Yes as I've repeated it's like that only this gen. There are solutions such as new disks, proprietary cartridges (like the Nintendo Switch is rumored to have), memory cards ect... It just entirely depends on the company. I am pretty 100% sure nobody is obligated to sell exclusively to gamestop. There are quite a few better options to them that you have evidently failed to discover. That last comment of yours again, subjective. As is your opinion of digital being better than physical.

Nothing you say can change the fact that DRM is vastly superior to disc, FACT.

No, it isn't subjective. Any game that ships with a paper map has the map viewable from within the game, there is no need for the paper map at all.

@simplytheebest: And I quote "Installing isn't exclusive to any generation it's been around since HDD's have been around."

Either you don't understand what DRM is or the purpose of it. (If by superior you mean easier to pirate then yes) DRM is inferior to discs for some of the same cons (some of which I have listed in my previous comments) to having digital over physical.

You are basing that off of what? That's what I though, your opinion.

@xspartanx3x: Quote it all you want, you're still wrong and I'm correct. Installing has been around since HDD have been around. Blu ray discs are too slow for the data size of current games so they require installation.

I pre-ordered my XO right after its reveal so of course I understand DRM. It was only naive, gullible little sonyplugs that didn't understand DRM or that being connected to the internet with a 24/7 connection is a good thing. They got fooled by porky at sony's crappy E3. Us Xboxers didn't. DRM is superior to discs, discs cannot recover from being damaged, lost or stolen.

I'm basing it off of facts and you're basing it off of opinions.

@simplytheebest: Seeing as I said it was exclusive to this gen and you gave that response which I then refuted in my next comment... pretty sure that makes you wrong buddy.

Half of that comment was irrelevant stick to the topic. DRM has nothing to do with discs being able to be damaged, stolen, or lost. If you're losing or getting discs stolen constantly you've got another problem. Either way the point is there are pros and cons to each making which one is "better" subjective.

Ok then prove it.

You can't disprove any of the points below, not one of them.

Facts: DRM is superior. Games are fired up way faster, can't be lost, damaged or stolen, doesn't take up any space.

@xspartanx3x: Just because you say that me saying I know what it is doesn't mean I know what it is doesn't mean I don't know what it is.

@gameroutlawzz: Agree, and it is a game they keep improving on. Definitely a must buy for anyone that finds that style of game appealing.

Just checked steam for the sales, and they're selling Arkham knight Premium for 8 dollars.

Amazing price

Middle of earth GOTY for 11 dollars? Awesome

Doom for 30? really? I can get it for 15 at any shop, here.

There are some good deals here, but most are outclassed by either steam or retail stores...

still better than the ps store sales though...

Yeah, not that great of a sale. I have both systems and maybe PS 4 beat them this year, but not by much. I think the thing of it is though, is i really can't complain, in that Xbox has great deals all year round, with many games for as little as 5 bucks, and many even free.

On 360, they're practically giving games away, that may in fact go BC. They have Free Play Days. Can't really complain.

PS though has to up their game, because i haven't really seen much with them. I've only had PS since the summer, but i wish they would do more with their PS2 bc games, which has been i would think, is nothing more than a talking point, being nothing really comes out.
