Microsoft has announced this week's Xbox Live deals for Gold subscribers, and they include markdowns on semi-new releases like Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Strider, as well as critically acclaimed Rockstar Games action title like Bully, Red Dead Redemption, and Max Payne 3.

The discounts listed below are valid now through June 23. Of course, you'll need an Xbox Live Gold subscription ($60/year) to enjoy the savings, except for the games/content marked with an asterisk. With that out of the way…

Thats why i didnt got Crimson Dragon few days back.

Tomb Raider for $30 is sweet but it has too many multiplayer achievements for my taste.

I'd get Crimson Dragon too, but I thought that might get free before any newer game since it was there on launch day… (at least LocoCycle wasn't the 1st free game for us…)

How is the PS market compared to Xbox? Havent had an playstation since 2nd gen.

@Sindroid Well, put it this way: XBL: Tomb Raider discounted to $30. PS+: Tomb Raider Free like 4 or 5 months ago.

Also: I have over 60 games I downloaded through PS+ FREE and the list keeps growing. I can't keep up. Haven't bought a new game in the longest time.

PS+ for PS3 is a huge addition. but as of right now, is pretty lame for the PS4… XBL Games with Gold for the X1 is growing faster and better in comparison.

What is the point in getting any digital games for the 360 when the platform is at the end of its life? In 2 years MS will pull the plug and discontinue xbox live for the 360. Will you still be able access any of your digital content that is not installed on your hard drive? Will they let you redownload stuff after the cut off date? That remains unclear.

By comparison, there is no plug pulling presently planned for Steam. And if you computer dies you just install the steam client on a new computer and you get access back to all your content.

At least XBOTs are getting a taste of steam sales, except that PC gamers don't need to pay $60 for a gold account to get some deals.
