Xbox Is Releasing A Bucket Hat, Towel, And Backpack In Australia And New Zealand

The new items follow in the footsteps of the Xbox Onesie, the Xbox body wash, and a greaseproof controller.

Comments

After making waves with the Xbox Onesie, the Xbox body wash, and the greaseproof Xbox controller, the team at Xbox ANZ is back with another unexpected Xbox marketing campaign.

The company has created "Summer of Xbox: Let's Play Kits" that include reversible bucket hat, a beach towel, and a backpack, all of which are stylishly stamped with Xbox logos. The items were designed by Sydney-based artist Dale Bigeni and they are meant to celebrate the start of summer (in the southern hemisphere) and the recent launch of the Xbox Series X|S consoles.

People who live in Australia and New Zealand (sorry, rest of the world!) can enter for a chance to win the items through the Xbox ANZ Facebook page. You just need to write a message about how you play to spend time gaming over the summer.

2021 is a big year for Xbox, as it marks the 20th anniversary of the console platform. The original Xbox and Halo: Combat Evolved were released in November 2001. Microsoft is yet to announce any celebration plans, but the company is releasing Halo Infinite later this year after a delay.
