Xbox Game Pass--Borderlands, Lego Worlds, And Other Games Leaving Soon
Borderlands, Cities: Skylines, and other games are leaving Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox One soon.
Microsoft is removing six games from Xbox Game Pass this month across Xbox One and PC, including Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, which consists of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. On the bright side, several new Game Pass titles are now available, with more to come later this month.
As is the case with all games leaving the popular subscription service, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can purchase each game leaving at a 20% discount if they want to continue playing. An exact removal date has not been announced.
The lists for Xbox One and PC feature some overlap, with Vampyr, Operencia: The Stolen Sun, and Cities: Skylines. The full list can be seen below.
It's a pain, although one of these games is less of a loss than the others. If you're a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, or have been on Xbox Live Gold for a while, odds are that you have The Golf Club 2019, too--it was free in May 2019, and it follows on from The Golf Club 2.
On the plus side, Xbox Game Pass subscribers recently got their hands on Ori and the Will of the Wisps as part of their subscription, and will still have access to over 100 other games. Additionally, several new Game Pass games have just been confirmed, while Game Pass Ultimate members will now receive select DLC for free as part of a new "Perks" feature.
If you're new to Xbox Game Pass, you can subscribe now for just $1.
