A handful of notable new Xbox Game Pass titles have hit the service today across PC and Xbox One. Those include Night in the Woods on both versions of the service, along with Warhammer Vermintide 2 on Xbox One and Kathy Rain: A Detective is Born on PC.

Those join some other games that hit the subscription service earlier in the week: Halo 3: ODST on PC and mobile, and Destiny 2: Shadowkeep and Forsaken, on Xbox One and mobile. Those both hit on September 22. Company of Heroes 2 was added to the service last week.

Now Playing: Microsoft's Secret Weapon For Next-Gen Is Xbox Game Pass

This all comes amid confirmation that Doom Eternal is coming to the service on October 1. That's not surprising, as Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda means its library of games will be considered Microsoft first-party titles going forward, including upcoming games like Starfield. Bethesda has said all of its games will be on the service once the deal is finalized.

Xbox Game Pass is a big part of Microsoft's next-gen strategy, touching almost every aspect of its gaming business. It includes cloud gaming access on Android devices, and its console subscription service will go on with Xbox Series X and Series S. It's also included with All Access payment plans, essentially letting you rent-to-own a new console for a comparable price to buying it outright.
