Xbox boss Phil Spencer has again provided a status update on Project Scorpio.

In a tweet today, the Xbox executive said he had a "great day" of meetings with the Scorpio team. He also got to play some games for the first time on the system, while he remarked that the console "looked right." Microsoft has yet to show off the unit's form factor.

These comments those from last week, when Spencer said he was "really happy" with what the Scorpio engineering and development team has been able to achieve.

Scorpio is due to launch this holiday, but it remains to be seen when Microsoft will start to show it off. Earlier this month, Spencer said he is unsure if Microsoft will show off Project Scorpio before E3 in June.

Microsoft has time and again referred to Scorpio as the "most powerful console ever made," and claimed that the performance advantage over the PS4 Pro will be noticeable.

In other Scorpio news, Halo boss Frank O'Connor recently said that, while he's unsure of Project Scorpio's specifics specs, they are "beefier" than what he expected.
