XBL gets Crackdown picture packs, themes

Xbox 360 owners looking for a change of dashboard scenery now have a few more options. According to the blog of Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, new themes and gamer picture packs based on Crackdown have arrived on the service.

The two new themes--descriptively labeled as Action Theme and Minimalist Theme--sell for 150 Microsoft Points ($1.87) each. The three picture packs go for 160 Microsoft Points each ($2) and contain different numbers of themed pictures. There are 12 pictures in the Fun Picture Pack, while the Crackdown Agent collection features eight pictures, and the Crackdown Gang pack only includes a half dozen. All of these offerings are currently unavailable to users in Germany or Japan.
