UK-based KOCH Media has today announced that it will publish World War II: Frontline Command in Europe. The real-time strategy game, which is in development at The Bitmap Brothers and was originally going to be published worldwide by Codemasters, will feature some of World War II's most significant battles including Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge.

"The Bitmap Brothers are the caliber of development team which will define KOCH Media's titles for 2003," said Craig McNicol, managing director of KOCH Media. "Signing what is probably their finest game to date is a major advance to KOCH Media and further establishes us within the European publishing arena."

World War II: Frontline Command is scheduled for release in Europe in May but is still without a publisher for North America. A spokesperson for The Bitmap Brothers has, however, told us to keep an ear to the ground for an announcement in the next week or so.
