"People will just be like, 'What is happening right now?'"

Anyone who saw the first season of The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness on WWE Network knows that WWE alum Adam "Edge" Copeland and Jay "Christian" Reso like to get weird when left to their own devices. The first run of episodes for the series were filled with bizarre moments, tons of cameos, and a magical remote control that could pause WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon.

With the show returning to WWE Network on Monday, November 26, it sounds like things will be getting even zanier and more obscure. Speaking to GameSpot about his return to History's Vikings, Copeland had some interesting things to say about Season 2 of The Edge and Christian Show.

In the first season, the duo and their crew essentially learned how to make a TV show along the way. "We were figuring out this thing as we went along, you know, they basically gave us show and free reign," he said. "We didn't really still have it fleshed out and we were filming them basically as they were airing so there was a time crunch and because of that there was a creative crunch."

That's changed, though. He explained, "By the time Season 2 rolls around and we start filming, we had loads of time to write, all of the scripts were really fleshed out, we had all of the people that we wanted for the characters, or you know, our wishes anyway. And then we end up getting over one hundred cameos in this thing, some really random ones too."

That's right, the new season of The Edge and Christian Show has over 100 cameos for wrestling fans to discover. In one particular scene, Copeland teased that the screen will be filled with special guests in front of a green screen as they try to recreate a "classic moment" in wrestling history. With a laugh, the WWE Hall of Famer added, "People will just be like, 'What is happening right now?'"

Of course, that's not the only time viewers will be asking themselves that question. Based on what Copeland had to say, it sounds like the crazier the idea, the more important it was to have it on the show. And this time around, they're going to have the visual effects to set the stage for the insanity.

"This one is a lot different than Season 1," he said. "To me, in a much better way. We added in some elements, we had some graphic artist and do some amazing things that we wouldn't have been able to, some of our visions just wouldn't have been possible without this guy coming in and putting his magic touch on it. When you see it, you'll be able to tell because it's just, you know, the farting unicorns going by Hillbilly Jim while he's moon farming."

If there's one thing pro wrestling has been missing, it's a farting unicorn. Clearly, the New Day is about to be one-upped. Thankfully, Edge and Christian are here to save the day once again, even if it took nearly three years to get this second season.

The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness returns to WWE Network on Monday, November 26, after Raw.
