Now Playing: Referees Are Magical: Wrestling 101

WWE's Summerslam is here, or at least it will be in a few hours. The biggest stars in wrestling will face each other inside the Thunderdome at the Amway Center, in Orlando, Florida. Below, you'll find the winners and losers of the event as it happens.

The main card for the show begins at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET, with a Kickoff show beginning one hour prior. Summerslam is going to be a monumental event, as it's the first WWE PPV taking place outside of the Performance Center since the COVID-19 pandemic began--not counting the cinematic matches we saw during Wrestlemania 36 or Money in the Bank.

How to watch:

If you want to watch tonight's event, you'll want to subscribe to the WWE Network. While the streaming service no longer offers a free trial, which you can sign up for below, it's still a whole lot cheaper than getting the PPV through your cable or satellite provider.

WWE Network costs $10 a month. In addition to streaming live events, there are old episodes of numerous wrestling shows and promotions, and original content. You can cancel at any time.

As of this writing, there are eight matches for the PPV--six of which are for WWE titles--on the match card. Will these feuds end here, or will they continue to next Sunday's event? Check out what to expect below.

Match card:

  • Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship)
  • The Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade & Angel Garza (Raw Tag Team Championship)
  • Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins (Street Fight)
  • Braun Strowman (c) vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt (Universal Championship)
  • Sasha Banks (c) vs. Asuka (Raw Women's Championship)
  • Bayley (c) vs. Asuka (Smackdown Women’s Championship)
  • Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville (No DQ Loser Leaves WWE)
  • Apollo Crews (c) vs. MVP (United States Championship) [KICKOFF SHOW]

Let's get on with the show. Check out live coverage of the event below, and keep checking in for new results as well as a review of the show from GameSpot's Wrestle Buddies Chris E. Hayner and Mat Elfring.

Apollo Crews (c) vs. MVP (United States Championship)

Crews wins by pin.

He retains the United States Championship in a short match. Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley attempt to ambush Crews after the match, but Crews slips out of the ring before they can get to him.

Bayley (c) vs. Asuka (Smackdown Women’s Championship)

No Caption Provided

Bayley wins by pin.

Asuka accidentally bumped into Sasha Banks and that "distraction" led to Bayley getting the rollup pin. Bayley and Banks attacked Asuka post-match.

The Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade & Angel Garza (Raw Tag Team Championship)

No Caption Provided

The Street Profits win by pin.

Zelina Vega tried to distract the ref during the match, but she got knocked to the outside. In turn, Andrade went to check on her, which allowed the Profits to double-team Garza and get the win.

Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville (No DQ Loser Leaves WWE)

No Caption Provided

Mandy Rose wins by pin.

And with that, Sonya Deville is no longer in WWE... at least for now.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins (Street Fight)

No Caption Provided

Seth Rollins wins by pin.

Rollins and Murphy handcuffed Rey to the ropes while they finished off Dominik in the ring. Although this was a Street Fight, it never even left ringside.

Sasha Banks (c) vs. Asuka (Raw Women's Championship)

No Caption Provided

Asuka submits Banks.

Asuka took a nasty hit to the floor, outside of the ring, when Banks powerbombed her for the ring apron. Her head hit hard and things took a while to get back on track.

Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship)

No Caption Provided

McIntyre pins Orton and retains the WWE Championship

The match finished with McIntyre winning via backslide pin, to which the commentary team said "You never see it coming," which is the tagline for Summerslam this year.

Braun Strowman (c) vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt (Universal Championship)

No Caption Provided

The Fiend wins by pin.

Braun Strowman used a box cutter to tear apart the ring mat, and The Fiend used that to his advantage by slamming Strowman on it numerous times. After the win, Roman Reigns showed up and put the smackdown on The Fiend and Strowman.
