Now Playing: WWE 2K19 Showcase Mode Gameplay With Daniel Bryan

The evening of August 19 had some benchmark moments for WWE during its PPV Summerslam. Over the course of the evening, GameSpot covered the event live, and you can see all the results below. The six hour long event--including the Kickoff Show--took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and had 13 matches during the evening.

There were two major title changes during the evening. One former UFC fighter lost his championship after a long reign, and another former UFC fighter won her first WWE championship. Neither of those matches were exceptionally great, but they still got the crowd pumped. Check out the full results below and our review of Summerslam.

Original story below.

You can watch the show on the WWE Network, but if you don't have a subscription to it, or you're too busy to watch it live, GameSpot will be keeping you up to date with the winners and losers of the show as it happens, and the Kickoff Show begins at 10 PM GMT / 5 PM ET / 2 PM PT with the main card starting at 12 AM GMT (August 20) / 7 PM ET (August 19) / 4 PM PT. Keep refreshing the page for up to the second results and surprising moments from the PPV.

There are a few high profile matches to keep your eye on for the evening. For Raw's matches, the Intercontinental Championship match between Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler should be one of the best matches of the evening. The two competitors have had some fantastic fights against each other, including the ironman match last month at Extreme Rules. There are a few rumors circling that Rollins' buddy, Dean Ambrose, will turn heel at the end of the bout though.

The Smackdown side of the card has a couple matches that should be fantastic. First, there is Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz, which has been building for the past couple years. This is the first time the two men have battled each other since Bryan was cleared to wrestle again back in the spring, and he recently spoke to GameSpot about this history with The Miz. Finally, there's Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship. There's are a couple of the most exciting wrestlers to watch on WWE programming, and they're bound to put on an amazing match. Hopefully, this is the main event of the evening.

Check out the Summerslam card below. The matches may not happen in the order listed. In case you're not caught up, don't worry; we put the final results in spoiler blocks.

They muted the crowd so you couldn’t hear them boo Roman, then they bring out Braun to use him from keeping people from walking out. F this man. I’m finished

@chippiez: some people take their fandom a little too serious, and Im not just talking wrestling fans. Whether it's a movie, tv show, videogame, etc the overreaction of fans when they are upset over something is a little ridiculous. At the end of the day it's just entertainment people. Not the end of the world if your expectations weren't met. These days there's an overload of entertainment and content available. If you disappointed by one thing just move on to something else. Chances are there's something else to fill your entertainment needs.

@ixidjfrizzixi: why do you think they muted the crowd? cause you hate roman you think the entire arena and world also hates him? watch the front row when the camera is panning to them, yeah there were some boos but most of the crowd isnt that salty at Roman and had shut mouths and were motionless not reacting to anything just enjoying the show. tell everyone to go back and watch the crowd its all there not everyone has thumbs down and hands on throats booing

@Archangel2222: Because there was no sound: no cheers or boos. Go back and watch, they did it Lesnar too. But when Braun shows up, there is clear sound. Watch what happens when Finn Balor comes and the crowd goes crazy. Does he get cheers, of course, everyone does. I won’t deny that. However his promotion is the problem. It’s 1984 Orwellian manipulation control for this man. They find the three signs that say “Roman Empire” which are typically held by children or women. They consistently brag about his merchandise sales, yet I see more NJPW merch than his. It’s nonsense what they are doing, and the Strowman stunt was a clear way to get the fans to stay rather than getting people to walk out.

@ixidjfrizzixi: from reddit from the summerslam topic where fans who were at the arena with reactions, the crowd wasnt as hostile as you expected and at the same board they actually said crowd was more dead for the bryan and miz match out of all the matches. true fans booed both brock and roman but they had the support too but again wasnt as hot of a pop for obvious reason but Im not saying there is anything wrong with roman Im ok with him in the main event scene and wrestling the top talents night in night out he belongs there he isnt as bad as most put him out to be I look forward to his fights with the raw roster from now on:

Main Event Time: Crowd was ready to eat both guys alive. Surprisingly I heard a couple of sections that were actually pro Roman and Brock will always have his die hards, but yeah, people were ready to boo. Strowman coming out turned everything around and the crowd was hype from bell to bell. It was a brilliant move. I've heard on here that they cut pretty early, which was smart to maintain the reaction for Roman, but once fans saw that Strowman wasn't cashing things turned pretty quickly. Not so much anger but an undeniable disappointment and apathy. Roman walked up the ramp and then Strowman got up and followed.

Now that they showed the twins to be on front row Ronda Rousey will surely not win the title as they may interfere and thus start a new storyline...
