WWE Returns To Live Tours In July

Like most live sports, WWE went without live crowds for over a year, but with the COVID vaccine being implemented and fans slowly returning to venues, WWE is ready to get back to business by going on the road once more.

WWE announced Friday morning that it will go back to live tours starting in July with a triple event weekend, starting with Friday Night Smackdown on July 16 at the Toyota Center in Houston. Followed up by the Money In The Bank PPV July 18 at the Dickies Center in Fort Worth, and finally Monday Night Raw on July 19 at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Tickets for the live events in Houston, Fort Worth, and Dallas go on sale next Wednesday, May 26 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET.

This is just the beginning, as WWE revealed they have a 25-city tour with new cities and stops being announced in the coming weeks.

WWE has been without weekly live audiences since March 16 of last year, with a few exceptions sprinkled in like this year's Wrestlemania and Takeover. Early on during the pandemic, after a series of completely audience-free shows, Performance Center wrestlers appeared as the audience for Raw and Smackdown shows. This didn't last too long though.

Some WWE superstars have been positive about the change. Former Intercontinental Champion and Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura tweeted out how happy he was that he could "sing along again" with the fans.

Others like Xavier Woods aka Austin Creed made it seem this is how talent found out.

WWE has not listed a mask policy or anything of the sorts just yet, but could be similar to how Ring of Honor will be mandating masks as well as AEW at its shows as well.
