WWE license heading to Take-Two?

Great news!

wwe on pc...man....11 years drought on pc...so that's the biggest step you can take first....since you are parent publisher of titles like gta....I would like to see more open sandbox type game..especially in a self created player career mode...thirdly, lots of serious refinements such that rey mysterio is not able to lift up big show like a basket ball

What I liked about the past games was the community interaction with the fans and how they listened to our suggestions and helped made a good product. I'm afraid that will be lost in the transition. All that the series has gained in the last year will probably be lost and end up a mediocre game in the end...

This could end up being either good or bad news. On the good side of things Take Two might bring in a new developer or develop their first WWE game in house with a new engine built from scratch which would mean a WWE game that didn't feel just like the last one but with a few tweaks On the bad side, being new to the WWE game licence they could royally fluff it up. Needless to say as a WWE and WWE game fan I for one will be interested to see how this one pans out.

If I were Take-Two, I would pass on this license.

WWE 13 is awesome.

WWE '13 was awesome just because of the Attitude era mode. I'm excited to see 2K get it. They have great sports games. Just please dump Yukes, 2K. Oh, and give us Macho Man Randy Savage for a game. He died for our sins in 2012 so the world wouldn't end, at least give him a roster spot in the next game.

So shooting a gun in a virtual environment is only okay when you do not shoot virtual people, but instead virtual targets? The "people" (Really a collection of polygons made to resemble people) in the games are just like the targets you shoot, not real.

Take 2, just go back and play SmackDown 2 (PS1), and amplify it for the modern age. That's all that ever needed to be done. And make the roster like 50% wrestlers from the 80's and 90's. Boom. Big seller.

Would have liked to see what EA Sports could have done with the WWE license.

The games are fine just the way they are and now with the change we might get a piece of shit like the TNA game.

Yukes have been making these games for years and they are all very similar. Kind of reminds me of EA and the Madden, NCAA Football and NBA Live series. Same game, different year. I think they should let another company develop the game. See if we can get some innovative gameplay and content for the series.

With all due respect to Yukes, I wouldn't mind a new developer take over. Let's see what someone else might do with with the product. Take Two also owns the 2K sports games, do they not? How about them?

My brother buys the games and they are almost exactly the same each year. Would it kill them to add some originality to the series?

For the love of god would the new owners please give All Stars 2 the go ahead? Now THAT was a good WWE game. Really good, fun gameplay. Just lacked in content. A sequel could be amazing.
