TikTok creators will be used as future ring announcers for WWE's upcoming Summerslam event.

Beginning July 19, WWE will launch a search on social media and content creation app TikTok for their next ring announcers for their upcoming Summerslam pay-per-view event. The current Mr. Money in The Bank himself, Big E, took to the platform and announced the rules on WWE's official account.

WWE will select two of the best performers to head to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to announce one match each, with the remaining matches being split between the Smackdown and Raw ring announcers.

WWE currently has 11.7 million followers on the platform, which features highlights from live events, television, and superstar takeovers. The Tiktok featuring John Cena's return at Money In The Bank already has over 300,000 views.

"Our engagement on TikTok to date has been incredible and we couldn’t think of a better platform to help us find the next great ring announcer," Steve Braband, WWE's vice president of digital media, said in a statement.

Summerslam streams live, hopefully, on Peacock in the US, and WWE Network everywhere else August 21 from Las Vegas. During the Money in The Bank pay-per-view event, Peacock's stream was cutting in and out throughout the broadcast. Peacock was even trending on Twitter due to the glitchy stream. However, the platform advised to restart the app on your streaming device, just in time to see Big E take the briefcase.
