Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions details

Activision reveals some of the ways in which this GameCube driving game will improve upon the earlier Xbox version.

Activision has today revealed new information on Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions for the GameCube. Originally released for the Xbox in February, this mission-based driving game sees players pitted against the Yakuza organization either as a high-level secret agent or as part of an elite anti-Yakuza police squad.

Wreckless on the GameCube will feature the same large, interactive environments seen in the other versions, but this time the streets will be filled with even more vehicles and pedestrians. As if the two different storylines with 40 missions each weren't enough, the GameCube version of Wreckless will also feature a number of sub-missions that, when completed, will grant players access to cheats. The game will also feature a free-roam mode so that players will have the opportunity to explore the city without having to fret about mission objectives and time limits. Surely the most exciting addition to the GameCube version, though, is its two-player mode, specific gameplay details of which have not been released at this time.

Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions for the GameCube is being developed by Stealth Studios and is scheduled for release in November. A Xbox version of the game will also be released at that time. For more information, check out our Xbox of the game.
