The latest patch for Blizzard's massively multiplayer online role-playing game, World of Warcraft, added several new features to the popular game. New additions include Dire Maul, a new dungeon for high-level adventurers, cartoon-style dialogue bubbles for chat, and...delays in gameplay. Blizzard recognizes that the transition to the new patch hasn't gone as smoothly as hoped. "Our team continues to work hard to provide our players with the best play experience possible, and we realize that extended, unscheduled downtime is frustrating," read a post from Blizzard reps on the game's Web site. To amend for the downtime, every player is being given a two-day extension to his or her account. The extensions go into effect this week.
