The patch, which upgrades the game to version 1.8, adds a number of improvements, including an all-new third-person animation system, new infantry models, the next generation of attrition and supply with the added capability of a vehicle reservation system, updated terrain, and new special effects. Version 1.8 also introduces a number of new French, German, and British 1941 vehicles to the battlefield, including the Hawker Hurricane IIc, Supermarine Spitfire MkV, German Panzer III, and Daimler Mk I Armored Car.
