World of Warcraft's New Level Cap Hit in Less Than 6 Hours

World of Warcraft: Legion's level cap was reached by someone playing the new demon hunter class.

World of Warcraft: Legion is out, and one player has already hit the new level cap. It took Twitch user Fragnance five hours and 28 minutes to reach level 110 with his demon hunter, the latest class to be added to the MMO (via Eurogamer).

Fragnance didn't make it from level 1 to 110, though. Players could create a demon hunter a week ago, and the new class starts at level 98. The previous level cap was 100, so Fragnance had plenty of time to get his demon hunter there before Legion launched last night. Despite this, reaching level 110 in less than six hours is quite the feat, one which he accomplished with the help of another player.

Now Playing: World of Warcraft: Legion Livestream

The tenacious World of Warcraft streamer spent a lot of time preparing for Legion, and you can watch it on his Twitch profile. As of publishing time, he's still streaming, accompanied by music from bands like Linkin Park as he works on getting his shadow priest to the level cap.

World of Warcraft: Legion is now available for $50. You can watch us unbox the $120 Collector's edition here.

Legion adds a bunch of new zones, dungeons, bosses, and features to World of Warcraft. There's also a content patch in the works called Return to Karazhan that introduces a small raid amidst The Emerald Nightmare and The Nighthold, among other things.
