World Of Warcraft Pacifist Player Reached The New Level Cap By Picking Millions Of Flowers
Pacifist Pandaren player Doubleagent hit max level after 17 days of putting the petal to the metal.
As a role-playing game, World of Warcraft features numerous methods for increasing your power within its MMO realms if you're prepared to engage in some violence to do so. One player has instead adopted a more pacifistic approach to reaching the level cap in the new Shadowlands expansion.
Doubleagent, who plays as a Pandaren monk, managed to reach level 60 without leaving the starting zone of the Wandering Isle that is meant for players who are below level 10.
Leaving that zone would have forced Doubleagent to pick a side, either The Alliance or the Horde, and thus become an accomplice in a faction that was responsible for the deaths of millions. Sticking to his pacifism, Doubleagent instead earned experience points by picking flowers for hours on end.

Doubleagent didn't reveal how long it took to gather that many flowers since the launch of Shadowlands on November 23, but the process was made quicker at least by the expansion's more generous approach to leveling up. This isn't the first time that Doubleagent has used a gentler approach to reach the level cap either, as previous efforts saw 8000 hours spent on reaching level 110 in the Legion expansion and an estimated 240 hours to reach level 120 in Battle for Azeroth according to PC Gamer.
Shadowlands is World of Warcraft's eighth expansion pack, and now also holds the record for being the the fastest-selling PC game ever according to Activision Blizzard. With more than 3.7 million copies sold on its day of release and total player time in-game having doubled when compared to 2019 numbers, Blizzard's MMO continues to remain incredibly popular after 16 years.
