Wargaming and Sony Pictures today announced a partnership that will bring tanks and other content based on upcoming Brad Pitt movie Fury to the free-to-play PC, Xbox 360, and iOS game. Starting today, players can purchase packs featuring a Fury-branded M4 Sherman Tank (above).

In addition, the Fury Bundle comes with a crew member modeled after Pitt's character, Wardaddy. Players will also find "exclusively tailored missions" to participate in and items to obtain based on the movie. The promotion ends on October 29.

"It made sense," Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi told the Associated Press about the partnership. "Both audiences are interested in historical accuracy, so why don't we do something together? We didn't want to overdo it. We appreciate the opportunity, but our audience wants appropriateness. It's show business. You never know how it's going to turn out before the premiere."

On iOS, you can buy the Fury-themed content for $15, while it will sell for $30 on Xbox 360 and PC, according to the AP's report.

Fury follows a five-man fireteam at the end of World War II. Featured alongside Pitt in the film are co-stars Shia LaBeouf (Transformers, Even Stevens), Michael Pena (Crash, End of Watch), Logan Lerman (3:10 to Yuma), and Jon Berthal (The Wolf of Wall Street). The movie opens in theaters on October 17.
