Wizardry 8 demo available

Sirtech Canada has released a playable demo of its latest role-playing game, Wizardry 8. The demo includes the first level of the game, and players will begin with a preset party of characters. The level has been modified for the demo to include a wider range of monsters and magic spells than the first level of the full game.

"One thing we want to stress about the demo is that it really is just a glimpse of the game," said Linda Currie, the Wizardry project leader. "Wizardry 8 features an immersive story, many intriguing quests and vibrant characters to interact with, spread across many fantastic locations. The demo shows only a small part of all of this."
