A newly released, fan-made documentary gives us a look at what's lurking in the deep of the waters of Rockstar Games' acclaimed open-world action game, Grand Theft Auto V.

From YouTube's "8-Bit-Bastard" channel, the video resembles Planet Earth. A David Attenborough-esque narrator guides us into the deep, as we learn various facts about sharks, whales, dolphins, and more.

If you're writing a research paper on the animals featured in the video, you may want to think twice before citing it, however.

"Some people have been saying our wildlife documentary isn't totally accurate--of course it isn't," its creators say. "We're not professional wildlife researchers, we're idiots who play computer games."

GTA V was originally released in September 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, shipping some 34 million copies. The game was re-released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 just last week, while a PC version is scheduled to launch in January 2015.
