The year-end awards season begins tonight with the 2015 Game Awards. Some of 2015's finest games will be celebrated, with one ultimately taking home the coveted overall Game of the Year award.

While we wait for the show to begin, you can check out all of the categories and nominees below.

Winners will be announced throughout the course of the two-hour show; at least 10 awards will be presented on stage. We'll update this post to as the show progresses by bolding the winning games.

The winners receive a statue designed by Lord of the Rings props and effects studio WETA (pictured above).
