While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is not getting an Enhanced Edition, the open-world RPG is changing very soon. CD Projekt Red has announced that The Witcher 3's 1.12 patch is expected to debut today, January 11, across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The news comes from community manager Marcin Momot.

Patch notes for 1.12 will be shared later today when the update arrives. We'll add them to this post when they are made available.
The Witcher 3's latest patch, 1.11, was released at the end of October 2015. That update fixed a number of bugs, improved technical performance in some regions, and addressed problems with the New Game Plus mode.
The Witcher 3 launched in May 2015 and has sold more than 6 million copies. Recently discovered retail listings suggested an "Enhanced Edition" of the game was coming, but CD Projekt Red quickly shot down those rumors.
GameSpot scored The Witcher 3 a 10/10 and we also recently named it our overall Game of the Year for 2015. The open-world RPG won the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards and is up for the same award at March's Game Developers Choice Awards.
