Witcher 3 Exceeds 1 Million Pre-Orders

@atopp399@foodrules: I'm guessing it's because they put so much in to their games with such a little team and try to make sure they release it as polished as possible. They have pushed the date back to ensure everything is working properly. Also, there will be multiple DLC packs in the future that will be completely free with the game. There is probably more, but that's just off the top of my head.

If there is one saving grace about pre-ordering Arkham Knight then it has to be because it is a Rocksteady title.

Arkham Origins was a broken buggy mess when I bought it and it still hasn't been patched but that was WB Montreal (I think) not Rocksteady.

@Mogan@davillain-: We're talking about Witcher and Batman here. It's a given both will be some of the best games ever made.

I did a lot of info. on my games, I know what I'm getting out of them.

Yes I understand it, if I was a bigger fan of The Witcher games I may be tempted myself to pre-order... but as I found out in 2013, although I love GTA V, I realised even a well respected company like Rockstar are capable of realising broken games.

As I said, I get why people have faith in these guys, they are pretty solid but after all the messy launches last year from so many different publishers, I just think people shouldn't be so quick to pre order games. After all most of them aren't intentionally releasing them broken, but again I must stress if there is a company that still has consumer favour it is these lads/lassies.
