Asked about whether the "games as service" model would effect the upcoming release of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red had a very detailed response. "No hidden catch, you get what you pay for -- no bullshit, just honest gaming like with Wild Hunt. We leave greed to others."
EA Stock Price Drops After Star Wars Battlefront 2 Microtransaction Removal
While it was only a 1% drop as of this morning, the effects of removing loot boxes had an immediate effect on the price of EA's stock. However it's worth keeping in mind that while EA's stock price is down by 7 percent for the month, the stock price is up 42 percent when looking at the year as a whole.
