Witcher 3 Dev Responds to Fans Upset About Xbox One-Exclusive Physical Items

It isn't about one getting more than the other overall. It is about one getting less for the same amount of money.

It would be really funny to see how many xboners would be whining if we took Destiny away at the last second.

I really hate all those "mature" people who always berate people for "whining".

People get passionate about their hobbies, and are naturally disappointed when corporate interests affect their hobbies negatively.

I think the real "villain" here is Microsoft. Altough Cd Projekt Red did fail some of their fans to a degree, it was Microsoft who shoved dollar bills in their faces in an attempt to repair some of the damage they did to themselves with their blunders prior to the launch of their new console.

playstatin is not looking so great to me because of its fan base. you see nothing but tolling the net and xbox media feeds from them. then bitching when something goes exclusives to xbox. if playstation was so great they would be to busy playing it to notice but its clearly not

By the way ps4 owners like me, you can't blame CD Projekt Red because if you go to their website(thewitcher.com) they do not have those items for xbox one.

Ps4 owners like me, please don't get mad. We have Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, The Order 1886, and The Last of Us. So let them wipe their ass with Halo and that map, The only thing they're gonna do with those cards is play Pokémon.

This is exactly how collector's editions should be; Figurines, artwork, maps etc. Rather than exclusive game missions/content.

I don't care much for maps, figurines, etc. It's not like I'm gonna build myself an altar and worship them, although some folks might.

odd for CDPR to side with corporations when they have always sided with gamers in the past, my view on them being one of the most consumer friendly devs hasn't changed but it does worry me.

I don't see the big deal in this since it's just a physical map and some cards. The game itself is no different. It's not like "you can have this Sword of Monster Slaying... if you buy the Xbox One version", go into a new cave, etc.

This surely isn't like PC and PS4 owners not being able to play the next TR game AT ALL. So, pfft people need to get a grip.

Looks like project Red might face some orders cancellation....considering there are more PS4 systems on the market that might give them quite an unfortunate hit.

I wish this damn console war would somehow end. I know it's not possible and understand why it's there, but it feels to me like all PC releases of games suffer lately because the consoles are trying to outperform one another.
