Wind Waker devs say they considered having beams shoot out of Link's eyes

I'm glad this didn't happen but the idea of it even occuring to miyamoto makes me laugh so hard. Its good that cooler laser beamless heads prevailed.

Actually that would've been hilarious. Seriously I wish laser beam eyes had been added to this HD remake now. Would it make any sense? No. Would it be awesome? Yes.

Not sure why they needed to justify large eyes. It is, after all, their artistic design. It's a new art direction. Was anyone really worried about this?
