Win a Trip to Rare to Play Xbox One/PC Sea of Thieves From Microsoft

Microsoft studio Rare has announced a new competition around its Xbox One and PC game Sea of Thieves and the winners will get an all-expenses paid trip to the UK studio to play the game before launch. The announcement video is below, while more details follow further down.

As explained on the Xbox Wire, Rare is asking fans to create "something that conveys their excitement for Sea of Thieves." Share it with Rare on social media through a picture of video and you'll be entered to win. Being creative and entertaining will up your chances of winning.

Here is a breakdown of the selection criteria:

• 33.00% - Creativity
• 33.00% - Entertainment value
• 33.00% - Level of excitement for Sea of Thieves

Rare will choose three winners and three runner-ups, who will then be flown out to England for a studio visit where they will receive early access to Sea of Thieves.

"Fans, their feedback, and our relationship with them are going to be critically important for us with Sea of Thieves," Rare said. "Even at this stage of development, we think of our players and our fans as being the centre of everything we do. That will only become truer as time goes on."

Sea of Thieves, which has been described by Microsoft as "the best game Rare has ever made," is slated for release on Window 10 and Xbox One. As of yet a release date has not been revealed.
